The Teackle Mansion may have been lost to the ravages of time if it weren’t for the many individuals over the course of the last fifty years. Most recently, approximately $1.6 million has been raised by the Friends of Teackle Mansion. Since 1999, critical repairs and detailed restorative work have recalled the grandeur and elegance of this early 19^th century exterior. But more projects are needed before the finishing touches can be applied, particularly to the 20-room interior.
