The Teackle Mansion is the 200-year-old former residence of husband and wife, Littleton Dennis Teackle and Elizabeth Upshur Teackle, in Princess Anne, Somerset County, Maryland. The neoclassical, 10,000-square-foot American villa style house exhibits a grandiose plan that included formal spaces with decorative plaster finishes, and an indoor bath and steam-operated kitchen equipment, then unheard of modern conveniences in their day, in addition to a wide range of elaborate furnishings.

The house exceeded most private residences of its day; only the wealthiest of Eastern Shore gentry of the early nineteenth century could afford to build on such a scale. The Teackles lovingly called the property "Teackletonia." in order to distinguish it from his uncle John Dennis's Beckford estate next door.
